Job Scam Alert
It has come to our attention that impersonators, operating under the name “Impac Media Pte Ltd” (UEN: 201602124C, address at Golden Mile Tower), have been reaching out to job seekers with marketing or administrative job offers on various employment platforms. When asked for credentials, these impersonators, claiming to be our HR staff or recruiters, have gone ahead to share the link to our website.
To be clear, we do not have any existing job listings online. In fact, we have never listed jobs online. We have since lodged a police report and are aiding the authorities on their investigation into this unfortunate job scam.
To those who were targeted in this job scam, we are sorry this happened to you and we encourage you to disengage from these so-called recruiters and lodge a report with the police.
Important Information
Impact Media will never adopt any of these practices:

Request money (e.g. for "processing fee" "registration fees" "documentation fee" "verification fee").

Request personal and sensitive information such as passport and bank account details.

Send emails from free web-based email accounts such as Yahoo, Gmail or Live.com.

Send messages via a mobile app with work-from-home opportunities without any interview process
(virtual or in-person). -
Insist on urgency from the outset.

Use poorly formatted documentation with grammatical errors and spelling mistakes.
Tips to avoid becoming a victim of job scams

Always ask for an official email for more info on the job vacancy and make sure the email received is from the domain "@impactmedia.sg" only. We have no other domain.
